Purpose
The COVID-19 Rapid Test is for the qualitative detection of novel coronavirus in saliva samples from the posterior oropharynx, sputum and stool specimens. It assists in the diagnosis of novel coronavirus infection. The COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test should be used in conjunction with clinical findings and other laboratory test results to aid in the diagnosis of patients with suspected SARSCoV- 2 infection. The test should only be used by healthcare professionals. It provides only an initial screening test result and other more specific diagnostic methods should be used to confirm SARS-CoV- 2 infection.
